A: What is the average turnaround on a home remodel project?
Average turnaround times vary from project to project. The turnaround time depends on many variables, project size, location, material availability, weather, etc. Once we start a project our crew is dedicated specifically to that project and stays on through completion.
A: Do Simple Solutions Grading and Snowplowing, LLC and Custom Creations offer guarantees or warranties on work?
All of our work is fully guaranteed. Guarantee times and terms vary between project types, but all exceed industry standards.
A: Is a deposit or down payment required?
All projects generally require a deposit or down payment. We usually set up a payment schedule in four payments per contract. A percentage down, a percentage due upon start, a percentage due at some point during the project and final payment upon completion. Terms vary depending on the project, but are fair and equal to both parties involved. Initial deposits are required to cover materials that have to be ordered and to hold start dates so we can schedule all our projects in a timely manner.
A: Can I live in my house while it’s being remodeled?
Depending on the project, yes. We make any accommodations necessary to minimize disruptions to the customer. In some cases, such as a whole house gut and remodel, temporary relocation may be necessary.
A: Do you implement and follow a budget and timeline?
All projects have a strict written budget and timeline. Our prices are guaranteed unless the customer makes a change to the contract in which case the price is adjusted accordingly. We do our best to follow timelines, but weather and other unforeseen circumstances can alter our initial timeline estimates.
A: Do you use subcontractors for projects?
On some occasions, we use plumbing and electrical contractors or additional labor on large projects to ensure timely completion. Our staff is always on site to supervise.
